Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the Dubai Logistics Hub by leading operational and tactical procurement of goods and services. Reporting to the Lead Global Procurement, the role ensures procurement activities align with IFRC’s humanitarian objectives and deliver value for money.

Key responsibilities

• Drive procurement processes with support from the Global Procurement and Sourcing teams.
• Lead the regional procurement team to develop and execute procurement strategies in a complex supply‑chain environment.
• Monitor and achieve procurement performance against defined objectives and KPIs.
• Oversee sourcing, procurement planning, execution, and vendor management.
• Ensure value‑for‑money outcomes and compliance with IFRC policies.
• Develop a robust supplier base and manage supply‑chain risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading procurement activities within a regional or hub setting.
• Ability to manage a team and coordinate with global procurement functions.
• Strong focus on achieving KPIs and delivering value for money.
• Experience handling complex supply‑chain environments and risk management.
