Senior Project Manager - High-Profile Events Project

About the role

Ultimate HR Solutions is hiring a Senior Project Manager for a premium, high-profile events project in Dubai. The role supports the Project Director in planning, coordinating and monitoring the overall project, ensuring teams stay on schedule, risks and issues are identified early, vendors meet compliance standards and reports are accurate and up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Director with overall project planning and delivery, coordinate activities across teams and organize coordination meetings.
• Maintain the master project schedule, track milestones and deadlines, monitor progress and keep risk and issue logs.
• Prepare regular status and progress reports and follow up on action items until completion.
• Coordinate vendor and partner compliance, track contracts, insurance, permits and licenses, and ensure vendors meet project, safety and site requirements before mobilization.
• Support project activities from planning through build-up, live operations and close-out, and keep senior management informed.
• Lead cross-functional coordination meetings, follow up with team leads and promote accountability and teamwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Event Management, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in project management, PMO, program coordination or similar roles.
• Preferred: experience in large-scale events, festivals, exhibitions, construction or complex projects; PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification is an advantage.
