Senior QA Automation Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks for high‑impact software projects. This remote position works with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality, reliability, and performance across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Execute, maintain, and expand automated test suites for functional, performance, and security validation.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and collaborate with developers to enable continuous delivery.
• Analyze test results, document defects, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best‑practice testing methodologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA automation engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex test failures.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward quality.

Required skills

• Programming/scripting: Python, Java, JavaScript.
• Automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman.
• Test frameworks: Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG.
• CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI.
• Version control: Git.
• Performance/load testing (optional): JMeter, Gatling.
