Senior Sales Engineer

About the role

Soteria Consulting Services, which provides Project Management and Construction Claims services in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer in Dubai/Abu Dhabi. The role drives business development and expands the company's market presence, identifying new opportunities, building client relationships and securing high-value contracts in the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate qualified business opportunities for Project Management and Construction Claims services across the UAE.
• Source potential clients such as contractors and developers facing project delays, disruptions, variations or payment disputes.
• Build relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, project owners and other stakeholders.
• Arrange client meetings, deliver presentations and assess project needs.
• Coordinate technical and commercial proposals with internal teams, lead negotiations and secure contracts.
• Manage the sales pipeline, keep client records and give regular sales forecasts and reports.
• Monitor industry developments, upcoming projects, trends and competitors, and represent the company at exhibitions and networking events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in engineering sales, business development or a related commercial role.
• Demonstrated experience in the UAE market with a strong construction industry network.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, project delivery, project management and commercial management.
• Knowledge of construction claims, contract administration and commercial dispute services.
• Strong English communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills; Arabic is an added advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence where required.
