Senior Sales Executive - Generator Set Exports

About the role

As a Senior Sales Executive for Generator Set Exports at Al-Futtaim Automotive, you will expand the export business for generator set solutions across regional and international markets. The role covers developing customer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, understanding customer needs and presenting solutions that support business growth, from first contact through to order placement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new export business opportunities for generator set products and solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors and key stakeholders across export markets.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals and sales presentations.
• Manage enquiries and sales opportunities throughout the sales process.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales records in business systems.
• Support commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project delivery and prepare sales forecasts, reports and market feedback.

Required profile

• At least seven years of sales experience in the UAE generator set industry.
• Proven hands-on experience in generator set export sales and B2B sales.
• Degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English; French is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and commercial negotiations.
• Ability to analyse customer requirements and prepare customer proposals.
• Accurate record keeping of customers, opportunities and sales.
• Analytical and quantitative skills, and effective communication and stakeholder management.
