Senior Site Architect – Construction Supervision

About the role

The Senior Site Architect will lead the supervision and quality control of construction works from the finishes stage through to handover on high‑rise projects. The role requires strong coordination with all trades, authorities and design disciplines to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project construction from finishes stage to completion, ensuring adherence to contract drawings and specifications.
• Supervise and control the quality of finishing works such as blockwork, plaster, cladding, joinery and aluminium installations.
• Attend and assist site meetings, coordinate with main and sub‑contractors, and provide timely information to the site team.
• Conduct weekly site visits, issue observation reports and non‑conformance reports (NCR) to contractors.
• Monitor on‑site quality, perform defect snagging inspections, and review IFC drawings before release.
• Act as log master for all project submittals, track distribution, and ensure release within contractual periods.
• Register site changes, assess cost and time implications, and communicate concerns.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and approvals.
• Review and modify CAD drawings, renderings, layouts and construction documents, providing technical guidance to architectural staff.
• Coordinate with architecture, interior design, landscape, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines to resolve clashes and maintain project progress.

Required profile

• Background in supervision consultancy for super‑high‑rise buildings.
• Experience reviewing material submittals, shop drawings and method statements.
• Proven ability to coordinate with all trades and manage authority requirements and approvals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and supervise construction from finishes to handover.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (as indicated in the truncated requirement).
