Senior Site Civil Engineer – Infrastructure, Deep Utilities & Enabling Works

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Civil Engineer to lead the execution of large‑scale infrastructure projects in Sharjah. The role involves managing all site activities from mass earthworks and enabling works to the installation of deep utilities and electrical substations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site operations, including excavation, cut‑and‑fill, grading, and soil stabilization.
• Coordinate the design, installation and commissioning of deep underground utilities such as potable water, sewer, stormwater, and pressure pipelines.
• Manage the construction of 33/11 kV primary and 11/0.4 kV distribution substations, ensuring seamless civil, MEP and utility interfaces.
• Lead complex dewatering, temporary shoring and micro‑tunnelling activities.
• Ensure compliance with Sharjah authority regulations, secure approvals and supervise inspections.
• Optimize resources, monitor production targets and control project costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, recognized under UAE regulations.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive civil infrastructure construction experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven background with Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil construction contractors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale site execution and coordinate with local authorities.
