Senior Site Engineer – Civil

About the role

The Senior Site Engineer – Civil will act as the principal technical adviser on Khatib & Alami infrastructure projects in Dubai. Reporting to the Associate Project Manager, the role ensures that all construction activities meet company specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily site progress and ensure compliance with K&A specifications and QC procedures.
• Process and manage Submittals, RFIs, and Shop drawings, forwarding queries to the Associate Project Manager as needed.
• Support Project Managers in client communications, clarification of technical and contractual issues, and coordination of third‑party inspections.
• Review contract documents, material submittals, and shop drawings for adherence to standards, codes, and regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to verify that works follow approved drawings and K&A standards.
• Prepare BOQ breakdowns, cost estimates, progress reports, and assist in reviewing contractor payments.
• Maintain accurate filing and archiving of supervision records and correspondence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Extensive experience in construction supervision on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of local building codes, specifications, and quality control processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
