Senior Specialist – Community Engagement

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Community Engagement will be the primary client‑facing representative for the Abu Dhabi Food Hub, ensuring a safe, clean and premium market environment. You will embed a safety‑first culture among tenants, oversee outsourced operational functions and protect the hub’s reputation and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for tenants and market clients, communicating safety standards and handling feedback.
• Monitor daily outsourced services such as cleaning, maintenance and security, enforcing SLAs and applying performance deductions.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits, collaborating with contractors to resolve issues and prevent incidents.
• Control controllable operating costs, support service‑charge recovery ratios and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Maintain the hub’s premium positioning by benchmarking against competitors and supporting tenant retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in community engagement or market operations within food trading, logistics or similar environments.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Arabic is a plus.
