Senior Structural Engineer (Building Design)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design of complex building structures and, where applicable, bridge projects. This senior position offers the chance to apply extensive engineering expertise on high‑impact projects that shape communities across the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of structural engineers to deliver large‑scale projects in line with client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review structural design drawings, specifications, and calculation submittals for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
• Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from clients, authorities, and consultants.
• Produce technical reports, correspondence, and studies related to structural works.
• Take technical responsibility for the quality and accuracy of all engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with geotechnical specialists on soil‑structure interaction issues.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience (approximately 120 months) in structural engineering, preferably in building design.
• Proven leadership experience within a structural design team.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and authority requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
