Senior Treasury Specialist

About the role

The Senior Treasury Specialist will oversee daily treasury operations, cash flow management and banking relationships for a leading retail and hospitality group in the UAE. You will ensure sufficient liquidity for all operational commitments and support the company’s financial strategy through effective cash deployment and financing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts and entities, preparing cash flow forecasts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Monitor cash inflows from retail stores, hospitality venues, e‑commerce platforms and payment gateways, and ensure liquidity for vendor payments, payroll, rent and other expenses.
• Optimize cash balances, reconcile movements between banks and payment channels, and minimize idle cash.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local UAE banks, acting as the primary treasury contact.
• Negotiate banking fees, interest rates, credit limits and facility terms, and identify suitable financing products.
• Lead the acquisition and management of banking facilities including overdrafts, revolving credit, working capital lines, letters of credit and guarantees, monitoring utilization, maturity and costs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of treasury or cash management experience, preferably within retail or hospitality environments.
• Established network and strong working relationships with UAE banks.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage banking facilities and credit lines.
• Strong analytical skills to forecast cash flow and assess liquidity needs.
