Senior Vice President – Real Assets Fund Accounting (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Senior Vice President will lead the Real Assets Fund Accounting function, overseeing Real Estate and Infrastructure investment structures across the Abu Dhabi platform. This senior partner role combines client leadership, operational oversight, talent development and technical accounting expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end fund accounting delivery, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and compliance with SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the senior technical accounting authority for fund, holding company and SPV structures, guiding IFRS and GAAP application.
• Maintain risk, governance and control frameworks, handling escalations and delivering KPI and risk insights to clients and leadership.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing accounting teams, establishing training and onboarding programs.
• Partner with executive management on client presentations, prospect meetings and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in fund administration, asset management or public accounting, including senior leadership responsibility.
• Deep Real Assets accounting experience across Real Estate and Infrastructure structures at fund, holding company and SPV levels.
• Proven track record managing senior client relationships and leading global, matrixed teams.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, local and European GAAP.
• Expertise in fund accounting platforms such as Yardi, Investran, Workiva or eFront.
• Experience with consolidations, complex multi‑entity transactions and valuations.
• Solid understanding of governance, internal controls and operational risk management.
