Service Advisor

About the role

The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service at AG Motors in Dubai. This role combines customer service, technical assessment, and coordination with the service team to ensure efficient and satisfactory repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, document vehicle concerns, and conduct assessments including visual inspections or test drives.
• Prepare cost estimates, explain recommended services, obtain authorizations, and create/manage repair orders.
• Communicate repair status, additional findings, and any changes to cost or timeline throughout the service process.
• Recommend preventive maintenance based on mileage, manufacturer guidelines, and inspection results.
• Review completed work with customers, process payments, handle billing questions, and manage warranty claims.
• Collaborate with technicians, parts department, and management to ensure smooth workflow and accurate documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive or business coursework is a plus.
• Previous experience as a service advisor, service writer, or in automotive customer service is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong customer‑service orientation, and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance schedules, and repair processes.
• Proficiency with Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and standard office software.
