AVP Personal Loan Sales

About the role

The AVP, Personal Loan Sales leads a sales team to achieve personal loan targets, acquire quality business, and strengthen customer relationships while ensuring compliance with the bank’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the assigned sales team to meet or exceed monthly sales targets and business objectives.
• Plan and monitor daily sales activities, team outputs, and performance using CRM and digital platforms.
• Develop new business opportunities in collaboration with Employee Banking, branches, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all sourced applications comply with credit, fraud, compliance, and documentation requirements.
• Strengthen customer relationships by reviewing feedback, NPS scores, and service concerns.
• Monitor sales performance, application errors, deferrals, attrition risks, and portfolio progress through MIS reports.
• Coach team members, address training needs, recognize high performers, and support performance improvement.
• Promote cross‑selling, market visibility, product awareness, and sales growth through meetings, promotional activities, and roadshows.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience selling banking products or in financial services.
• Strong leadership, team management, sales, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Good knowledge of retail banking products, credit requirements, and market competition.
• Ability to work effectively in a competitive, multicultural environment.
• Commitment to policies, procedures, service standards, and the bank’s Code of Conduct.
