Site Engineer

About the role

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee daily construction activities on its Al Jurf (JVCA) project. The role focuses on supervising building and villa‑compound works, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities in line with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor progress and report daily activities to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with quality, HSE procedures, and authority regulations.
• Support short‑term planning, sequencing, and look‑ahead schedules.
• Identify and report technical issues or deviations on site.
• Assist with inspections, snagging, and handover processes.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and site documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in building projects and villa compounds.
• Proven experience on UAE projects; Abu Dhabi experience preferred.
• Experience in villa‑compound construction is mandatory.
• Abu Dhabi Municipality certification is an advantage.
