Site Manager

About the role

The Site Manager will lead the planning, organization and execution of construction projects on‑site, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This role acts as the primary liaison between internal departments, subcontractors, consultants and the client.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project execution plans, allocating manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors, secure approvals and manage appointments.
• Design installation layouts based on client or consultant drawings and obtain client approval.
• Conduct site meetings, address queries, coordinate changes and manage additional work quotations.
• Enforce internal HSE, QA and QC procedures and maintain related schedules.
• Ensure compliance with municipal and legal requirements and oversee project close‑out procedures.
• Supervise site activities, provide on‑spot guidance, and monitor quality before hand‑over.
• Manage subcontractor documentation, coordinate with Quantity Survey and Accounts departments, and approve invoices.
• Handle snag lists, arrange subcontractor interventions and ensure timely completion of corrective work.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing construction sites and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of project planning, cost control and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and maintain project momentum.
