About the role
Mubarak Bin Mohammed Cycle 2 & 3 Charter School is an American‑curriculum primary school in Abu Dhabi seeking a passionate Social Studies teacher. The role offers the chance to inspire young learners, work within a collaborative community and contribute to the school’s vision of an innovative learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging UAE Social Studies lessons for Cycle 2 and 3 classes.
- Plan and prepare lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater for the full ability range.
- Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker and provide feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues, curriculum support staff and external professionals such as speech therapists.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy and act as a positive role model.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with EAL learners.
- Passion for whole‑child education, professionalism and a clean DBS check.
