About the role
The Specialist Corrosion Engineer will provide technical expertise in corrosion and materials engineering for ADNOC upstream projects within a PMC environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review engineering deliverables and evaluate corrosion risks to ensure compliance with project specifications and ADNOC requirements.
- Develop and recommend corrosion control strategies, materials selection, and corrosion management plans for oil and gas facilities.
Required profile
- 15+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience in corrosion and materials engineering, preferably on ADNOC upstream projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related discipline; NACE CP (AMPP) certification highly desirable.
Required skills
- Corrosion risk assessment and control
- Materials selection for sour service environments
- Review of EPC contractor deliverables and technical recommendations
