Specialist, Trade Finance Operations

About the role

This role is responsible for processing and authorising Trade Finance transactions for International Operations across multiple regions while ensuring compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and service standards. The incumbent will also act as a backup for UAE Trade Finance Operations and support transactions across various time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify trade finance transactions in line with the approval matrix and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor compliance with local and international sanctions and enhance controls to mitigate risk.
• Prepare accurate statements and reports for departmental requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to system and process enhancements.
• Assist in training, performance monitoring and remedial actions for team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 5‑8 years of experience in trade finance covering all product types.
• Strong knowledge of ICC rules, local laws, and trade documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with core banking solutions and related activities such as SWIFT and insurance.
