Specialty Pide/Pizza Chef

About the role

We are seeking a talented Specialty Pide/Pizza Chef to join the culinary team at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for creating authentic Turkish pide and high‑quality pizzas in a luxury hospitality environment, ensuring every dish meets our brand’s standards of taste and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage pizza dough, including mixing, kneading, fermentation, and portioning according to established recipes.
• Operate and maintain wood‑fired or commercial pizza ovens, controlling temperature and ensuring equipment functionality.
• Execute pizza preparation with precision, applying toppings, cooking, and plating to meet presentation standards.
• Maintain an organized pizza station, manage inventory, and uphold cleanliness protocols.
• Monitor food quality and consistency, adjusting recipes as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate timing during peak service.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist in menu development and test new pizza recipes.
• Train and mentor junior staff on pizza techniques.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience as a pizza specialist in a restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, hydration ratios, and ingredient quality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Food safety certification or equivalent knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
