Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our dining venue at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving the restaurant’s commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff to ensure outstanding customer service.
• Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Address customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the kitchen to develop and update menus based on local tastes and trends.
• Implement marketing initiatives to attract and retain guests.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and service standards.
• Analyze sales data and feedback to identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Fluent English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solid understanding of restaurant financials, budgeting, and cost control.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and health‑code requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in restaurant management software.
• Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
