Staff Nurse - Burn Unit

About the role

The Burn Unit at Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammad Medical City is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide direct, high‑quality care to patients with burn injuries. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver bedside nursing care to burn patients in line with hospital policies.
• Monitor vital signs, wound healing progress, and overall patient condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and support infection‑control procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or an Associate degree from Canada or the USA.
• Successful completion of the national licensing exam (NCLEX‑RN for the USA or the Canadian Licensing Exam).
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in a burn unit after qualification.
• Commitment to corporate and organizational development and compliance with health‑and‑safety regulations.
