Staff Nurse – Outpatient Clinic

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide direct and indirect age‑specific care to patients in the Surgical Outpatient Clinic, ensuring safe and professional patient care in line with Joint Commission International standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical and psychological needs, and document findings in the medical record.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, revise, and coordinate individualized care plans and clinical pathways.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and compliance with mandatory education such as fire safety, infection control, and narcotic handling.
• Participate in unit meetings, quality improvement activities, and ongoing educational programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent) and registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia.
• Minimum two years recent post‑graduate experience in an OPD setting.
• Valid license/registration in the home country or last place of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
