About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU). The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care to newborns who require specialised support, while promoting a safe and family‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to infants in the SCBU, including monitoring vital signs and administering prescribed treatments.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and other multidisciplinary team members to implement care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Support and educate families, ensuring they are involved in the care process.
  • Adhere to infection‑control protocols and clinical standards to safeguard patient safety.

Required profile

  • Registered Nurse with a compassionate attitude and demonstrated skill in neonatal care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, specialised unit.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with families and the healthcare team.
