About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU). The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care to newborns who require specialised support, while promoting a safe and family‑centred environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to infants in the SCBU, including monitoring vital signs and administering prescribed treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and other multidisciplinary team members to implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Support and educate families, ensuring they are involved in the care process.
- Adhere to infection‑control protocols and clinical standards to safeguard patient safety.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse with a compassionate attitude and demonstrated skill in neonatal care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, specialised unit.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with families and the healthcare team.
