Staff Site IT Manager

About the role

GE Aerospace is seeking a Staff Site IT Manager to lead the technology function for its engine MRO facilities in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and continuous improvement of all IT infrastructure and applications that support shop operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor WAN, LAN, and WLAN networks, escalating issues as needed.
• Design and execute a roadmap for digital improvements across the IT landscape.
• Represent IT on the shop leadership team and influence decisions at the LPB level and below.
• Partner with business units on lean and process‑improvement initiatives, leveraging digital tools.
• Maintain relationships with central Digital Technology product teams for rapid issue resolution.
• Lead technology obsolescence and improvement projects, including machine‑instrumentation initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure in an industrial or MRO environment.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
