Store Manager – Flagship Home Furniture Showroom

About the role

The Store Manager will lead Modora, GMG Home’s flagship indoor‑furniture showroom in Al Barsha. This 3,000 sqm design‑led destination combines retail sales, made‑to‑order customization and high‑value project sales, requiring full commercial ownership and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the showroom’s commercial performance, P&L, footfall conversion, average order value and monthly budget.
• Lead, recruit, coach and performance‑manage two distinct teams – interior designers and retail salespeople – ensuring aligned reward structures.
• Manage the end‑to‑end made‑to‑order and customization pipeline, from client brief through production tracking, quality control, delivery and installation.
• Drive cabinetry sales and high‑ticket whole‑room or villa projects, quoting, negotiating and protecting project margins.
• Operate a disciplined designer‑to‑sales handoff model that rewards referrals and maintains clear lead attribution.
• Maintain flagship visual merchandising standards, ensuring the floor meets designer‑grade layout, room sets and vignette quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing retail or showroom P&L and operating budgets.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing dual‑discipline teams (design and sales).
• Expertise in overseeing custom‑order pipelines, including feasibility assessment, specification management and production coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to sell high‑value furniture projects and achieve project‑margin targets.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage handoff processes, lead logging and attribution without conflicts.
• Eye for visual merchandising and maintaining premium showroom standards.
