Structural Engineer – Bridge & Steel Structures

About the role

Inhabit is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer specialized in steel bridge design, construction, inspection, and rehabilitation to lead engineering activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify structural designs, calculations, and shop drawings for steel bridge projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct structural assessments, inspections, and condition surveys of steel bridges.
• Recommend repair, strengthening, or rehabilitation solutions and review fabrication and erection methodologies.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical submissions, method statements, and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in steel bridge projects, including design, construction, inspection, or rehabilitation.
• Strong knowledge of steel structures, bridge engineering principles, and international design codes.
• Valid UAE driving license.
