Student Aide Companion – Support Student of Determination

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Student Aide Companion to support a Student of Determination throughout the school day across Sharjah and other UAE regions. The role involves ensuring the student’s safety, wellbeing, and active participation in line with school guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the assigned student with mobility, safety, and daily school activities.
• Promote the student’s dignity and appropriate participation.
• Follow instructions from school representatives and maintain professional communication with staff, parents, and colleagues.
• Report any incidents, safety concerns, or behavioral issues immediately.
• Perform any other reasonable duties related to the project.

Required profile

• Minimum high school certificate or higher qualification.
• At least one year of relevant experience (e.g., shadow teacher, teaching assistant, caregiver).
• Physically and medically fit to assist with student mobility.
• Exceptionally patient, caring, empathetic, and resilient.
• Valid First Aid Certificate and Basic Training Certificate.
