Supervisor, Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul

About the role

The Supervisor, Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul (AMO) leads the workshop that assembles, maintains, tests and overhauls oilfield tools and equipment for ADNOC. The role ensures tools are fit‑for‑purpose, compliant with technical and HSE standards, and delivered on schedule to support drilling and well operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily AMO workshop activities, including assembly, disassembly, maintenance, inspection, testing and overhaul of tools and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to approved maintenance procedures, OEM manuals, QA/QC standards and ADNOC drilling requirements.
• Plan and monitor tool turnaround cycles across PM1‑PM4 levels, guaranteeing timely availability for rig mobilisation.
• Identify and resolve internal or external bottlenecks affecting tool readiness.
• Document all maintenance actions, inspection certificates, test records and ensure audit‑ready compliance.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams and third‑party inspectors as required.
• Enforce HSE standards, conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments and promote a strong safety culture.
• Maintain good housekeeping, safe material handling and proper storage of tools, spares and controlled items.
• Lead and develop AMO technicians, allocate manpower, provide on‑the‑job training and support performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics and external vendors/OEMs to align maintenance priorities and secure parts availability.

Required profile

• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of experience in assembly, maintenance and overhaul of oilfield tools.
• Proven supervisory experience in a workshop environment.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, OEM manuals and regulatory compliance (including FANR where applicable).
• Strong HSE awareness and ability to lead safety initiatives.
• Experience planning tool turnaround cycles and managing stakeholder interfaces.
