Supervisor – Equipment Maintenance (India Campaign)

About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor – Equipment Maintenance to lead the India Campaign in Dubai. The role involves overseeing the upkeep, condition monitoring and testing of high‑voltage transmission substation equipment, ensuring reliability and safety of the power network.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities on 400 kV/132 kV substation assets such as gas‑insulated switchgear, power transformers and shunt reactors.
• Conduct condition monitoring and performance testing of all associated auxiliaries.
• Operate and maintain SF6 gas handling and oil filtration machines.
• Interpret electrical drawings and manage circuit energisation and de‑energisation following permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Respond to technical complaints, analyse alarm signals, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in high‑voltage substation maintenance.
• Diploma or degree in an electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Maintenance of 400 kV/132 kV transmission equipment.
• Condition monitoring and testing of gas‑insulated switchgear, power transformers and shunt reactors.
• Operation of SF6 gas handling machines and oil filtration equipment.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics and drawings.
• Circuit energisation/de‑energisation procedures with permit‑to‑work compliance.
• Technical troubleshooting and alarm analysis.
