Supply Chain & Logistics Assistant

About the role

A multinational automotive company, working through its client, is looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Assistant based in JAFZA, Dubai. The role covers import/export documentation, order processing and coordination with suppliers, customers and 3PL providers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle import/export documentation; experience in a trading environment is an added advantage.
• Prepare bank documents and export documents based on Letter of Credit (LC) requirements.
• Process sales orders, purchase orders, shipment advices and invoices for international customers.
• Prepare purchase and sales summaries and weekly reports on pending supplier and customer orders.
• Follow up with suppliers on shipping documents and update the system with order information.
• Check, verify and send pre-alerts to destinations, and keep local and destination customs regulations up to date.
• Verify supplier invoices, debit and credit notes and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate daily activities with suppliers, customers and 3PL service providers and ensure timely processes with internal and external parties.

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of international logistics experience.
• Any nationality; visit visa applicants will be considered.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Customer-focused attitude, team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Oracle-based ERP; MS Dynamics experience is an added advantage.
