Supply Early Years Nursery Teacher

About the role

Jumeirah International Nurseries is seeking qualified and enthusiastic Supply Early Years Nursery Teachers to support its network of British Early Childhood Centres across Dubai and Sharjah. This temporary position offers the chance to step into classrooms, maintain continuity of learning, and deliver high‑quality early years education to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engaging, age‑appropriate learning activities in line with the nursery curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and ensure the wellbeing of all children.
• Support classroom teachers by preparing resources, assisting with lesson delivery, and managing transitions.
• Monitor and record children’s progress and communicate observations to senior staff.
• Adhere to health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification or a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or an equivalent professional certification.
• Experience working with children from 6 weeks up to 6 years.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organised, dynamic, and able to adapt quickly to different classroom settings.

Required skills

• Knowledge of early years educational frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities.
• Proficiency in classroom management and child safeguarding procedures.
