Talent Acquisition Specialist - Allied & Admin

About the role

American Hospital Dubai is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide a high-level, seamless recruitment service for allied health and administrative roles. The specialist delivers a timely and efficient service in line with organisational strategy, supports the Senior Recruiters during busy periods and carries out recruitment requirements across the Allied Medical, Admin and Support Services divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing CVs for budgeted positions according to the Management System for Records (MSR)
• Posting jobs internally and externally on websites and portals registered with the hospital, and drafting ads and campaigns professionally
• Screening CVs against AHD and DHA requirements through cold calling, and conducting initial screening before forwarding candidates to department heads
• Building relationships with applicants, arranging interviews, sending reminders and taking part in interviewing and selection
• Ensuring requests are raised on iFusion and interview sheets are completed
• Preparing job offers, updating records, clarifying queries and facilitating new employee onboarding
• Briefing clinical staff candidates on pre-employment medicals and the DHA process, and handing over files to the onboarding team
• Justifying salary deviations for hard-to-place vacancies, following up documentation and answering candidate queries
• Sharing qualified candidates with senior recruiters and liaising with department heads on recruitment needs
• Providing monthly reports to the CHRO, tracking recruitment benchmarks and taking ownership of each recruitment drive
• Supporting JCIA-related audits and representing the hospital positively to candidates

Required profile

• Graduate from a recognised university or college, or via the Institute of Personnel Development
• At least three years of recruitment experience in the UAE, in the healthcare industry
• Previous Middle Eastern recruitment experience in the healthcare sector is essential
• Excellent spoken and written English
