Teacher of Physical Education (Primary/Junior)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary/Junior Physical Education Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will place children’s wellbeing and safety at the heart of every lesson, fostering a love of movement while supporting overall student success.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging PE lessons for primary and junior students.
• Identify and act on safeguarding and health & safety concerns, following school policies.
• Promote respect, inclusion and the well‑being of all learners.
• Manage equipment and resources responsibly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school‑wide initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Participate in professional development and school improvement activities.

Required profile

• Commitment to the ISP safeguarding principles and child welfare.
• Alignment with ISP values of respect, operational effectiveness, financial responsibility and continuous learning.
• Willingness to undergo vetting procedures, including background checks covering the past ten years.
• Passion for inclusive education and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
