About the role
The Team Leader will drive sales performance and develop the store sales team while ensuring exceptional operational, commercial and customer service standards across GMG sports retail locations.
Key responsibilities
- Support the achievement of annual sales targets and manage store coverage and scheduling.
- Conduct operational audits, oversee after‑sales processes, and ensure compliance with store SOPs.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, accurate promotions and pricing, and generate sales insights.
- Handle cash, inventory, loss‑prevention procedures and store cleanliness.
- Direct the team to follow SOPs, perform cashier duties as needed, and manage inventory movements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 4‑5 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory retail role.
- Proven ability to set goals, coach staff and drive a feedback culture.
