Technical Engineer – Civil Roads & Infrastructure

About the role

Al Marwan Group is seeking a reliable and well‑organized Technical Engineer (Civil) to support the execution of roads and infrastructure projects in Sharjah, UAE. The role demands strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, particularly in road construction, and the ability to manage project documentation and technical submittals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit material submittals, shop drawings, method statements and ITPs.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approvals and track submittal status.
• Maintain submittal logs, approval records and document control systems.
• Provide technical support to site teams, resolve construction queries and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Assist in the preparation, review and closure of RFIs and NCRs.
• Participate in project and technical meetings, delivering reports and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience on roads and infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations; RAK project experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is advantageous.
• UAE driving licence preferred but not essential.
