Technician (Engine Assembly / Disassembly)

About the role

The Technician (Engine Assembly / Disassembly) plays a key part in carrying out engine disassembly and assembly work in Gate 3 and 4 operations of the Aviation and Aero Engine MRO division. The post reports to a Manager, Senior Supervisor or Supervisor and follows approved technical data while promoting a culture of quality and health, safety and environment (HS&E).

Key responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, assembly and inspection tasks in line with technical and safety requirements to support Gate 3 and 4 operations.
• Show professionalism and integrity, encourage open communication and raise safety or ethical concerns when needed.
• Build technical skills through hands-on work and training, and guide junior technicians.
• Help prepare tools and resources, check own work against quality standards and report issues.

Required profile

• Degree from an associate, vocational or technical school in aviation, aeronautical engineering, MRO or a related field.
• D2 level authorization or equivalent certification.
• At least two years of experience in technical aviation or MRO.
• Effective communication, adaptability, attention to detail and time management.

Required skills

• Aero engine disassembly and assembly procedures.
• IT skills relevant to engine maintenance operations.
