Transport & Infrastructure Economist

About the role
The Transport & Infrastructure Economist will lead economic and financial analyses for major transportation and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. This role supports project feasibility, investment decisions, and strategic planning through rigorous economic evaluation.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive economic and financial analyses for transport and infrastructure initiatives.
- Develop and assess feasibility studies, including cost‑benefit and risk analyses.
- Apply a range of economic evaluation techniques and modeling tools to support decision‑making.
- Prepare clear, data‑driven reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaborate with engineering, planning, and finance teams to integrate economic insights into project designs.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in transportation, engineering, economics or a related field.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in transport or infrastructure economics.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proven ability to communicate complex findings effectively.
