Travel Operations Manager – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our Dubai‑based travel agency and DMC. The role combines hands‑on management of bookings, supplier relationships and a team of operations, reservations and customer service professionals to ensure a seamless travel experience for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end travel operations from enquiry to post‑travel support.
• Oversee holiday packages (FIT & GIT), air ticketing, hotel reservations, visa processing, airport transfers, tours and travel documentation.
• Ensure all bookings are processed accurately and delivered on time.
• Handle operational escalations and provide timely resolutions.
• Lead, mentor and supervise Operations, Reservations, Sales Support and Customer Service teams.
• Set KPIs, monitor team performance and maintain service excellence.
• Recruit, train and develop team members.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, transport providers and tourism partners.
• Negotiate competitive rates and supplier agreements.
• Improve operational processes, monitor booking accuracy, productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Travel Agency, DMC, Tour Operator or Tourism Company.
• Proven experience leading an operations team.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE travel market, suppliers and tourism industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Currently based in Dubai or available to relocate immediately.
