Visiting Faculty – Supply Chain Management (Fall 2026 – Spring 2027)

About the role

The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at the American University of Sharjah seeks a Visiting Faculty member in Supply Chain Management for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The appointment covers the Fall 2026 semester (starting 24 August 2026) and the Spring 2027 semester, focusing on teaching, research, and service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and related topics.
• Develop and pursue a research agenda aligned with departmental priorities.
• Participate in departmental service activities, including curriculum development and student advising.

Required profile

• PhD in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field (e.g., Operations Management) from an AACSB‑accredited business school, preferably in North America.
• Evidence of promising research potential or a strong record of publications.
• Ability to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Required skills

• Expertise in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Quality Management, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, and Management Service Supply Chains.
