VP Corporate Affairs & Audit – Investment Office (Dubai)

About the role

This senior finance leadership position is based in Dubai and focuses on strengthening assurance, governance, financial oversight and corporate administration across an investment office. The role combines independent oversight with hands‑on responsibility for internal audit, risk, controls, governance, procurement and incentive scheme administration.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute a risk‑based internal audit plan covering finance, operations, technology, investment support and compliance.
• Oversee governance processes, board and committee activities, statutory filings and regulatory obligations globally.
• Assess control effectiveness, maintain remediation registers and ensure timely escalation of material risks.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial performance monitoring and reporting to senior management and the board.
• Manage the procurement framework, supplier due diligence and negotiations for material contracts.
• Administer bonus and long‑term incentive schemes, handling calculations, reconciliations and payments.
• Provide trusted advice to senior leadership while managing internal teams and external advisers.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACA or equivalent) with senior‑level experience in an investment office, asset manager, private equity firm or multi‑entity group.
• Proven ability to lead risk‑based audits, evaluate controls and present findings to boards or audit committees.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate governance, entity administration and regulatory requirements; DFSA experience preferred.
• Experience in budgeting, management reporting, procurement, contract negotiations and incentive scheme administration.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai.
