VP, Graduate Resourcing (Emiratized Role)

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is looking for a VP, Graduate Resourcing (an Emiratized role) in Abu Dhabi. The role provides strategic leadership for the bank's graduate resourcing agenda, aligned with Emiratization priorities and future workforce needs. It leads and holds accountable the AVPs within Graduate Resourcing, sets the strategic direction for their portfolios and gives executive oversight of graduate programs to ensure effective governance, stakeholder alignment, delivery and sustainable talent outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the Graduate Resourcing strategy and operating plan, aligned with Emiratization priorities, workforce requirements and the bank's people strategy.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the AVPs, setting priorities, performance expectations and accountabilities.
• Hold AVPs accountable for delivery across attraction, assessment, selection, university engagement, candidate management and program activities.
• Set strategic direction for graduate attraction, assessment, selection, placement and development, with operations run through the AVPs and their teams.
• Oversee program governance, performance, risks, issues and milestones, and escalate material matters where needed.
• Support the placement, development, progression and retention of UAE National graduate talent across the bank.
• Partner with senior business and HR leaders to define graduate demand, intake priorities and roles and placements.
• Build senior-level relationships with government entities, universities and external partners to strengthen the UAE National talent pipeline and employer brand.
• Oversee Emiratization campaigns, career fairs, university engagement and targeted attraction initiatives.
• Review performance through agreed metrics, dashboards and management information, and drive continuous improvement.
• Operate within Group policies, governance frameworks and the delegated authority matrix.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in the banking sector, including at least 3 years of managerial responsibility.
• The position is reserved for UAE Nationals.
• A master's degree is an advantage; a CIPD certification or equivalent is preferred.
