About the role

The VP Trade Finance & Treasury will lead financial operations and trade finance activities for an international energy company based in Dubai, focusing on treasury management and commodity trading.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement trade finance strategies to support business operations.
• Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and forecasting.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions to secure funding and optimise arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in trade finance and treasury operations.
• Analyse financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Lead negotiations for trade finance agreements and treasury solutions.
• Provide financial advice and insights to support decision‑making.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in trade finance and treasury management within the energy sector.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
