Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join the food & beverage team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a 5‑star beachfront resort on Palm Jumeirah. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality service, ensure guest satisfaction and uphold the brand’s standards of French‑inspired hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Familiarise yourself with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
• Prepare the outlet for service, including mise‑en‑place, table setting, light cleaning and other assigned tasks.
• Take guest orders, upsell where appropriate, and enter them accurately into the point‑of‑sale system.
• Serve food and beverages according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
• Clear tables, transport dirty dishes to the dish area, and maintain a clean, orderly station.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Accommodate special guest requests for specific preparation methods or ingredients.
• Ensure all sales are recorded correctly, following procedures for ordering, voiding or correcting items.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or reputable restaurant environment.
• Energetic, fun‑loving personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Currently residing in the United Arab Emirates.
• Fluent spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with outlet point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
