Warehouse Worker

About the role

PPG is looking for a Warehouse Worker to join a practical, team-oriented environment where materials are received, stored and delivered correctly and on time. The role suits someone who wants to gain experience and grow within an international company that values safety, teamwork and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Locate stock and deliver items to their destination on request, accurately and on time.
• Receive incoming deliveries, check them against documentation and stock the supply room with new goods.
• Load and unload materials and products from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
• Store, sort and place materials on racks, shelves or bins according to established sequences such as size, type or product code.
• Move materials between receiving, production and storage areas as required.
• Read production schedules, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to know what to move or distribute.
• Take inventory and identify reorder needs for supervisor approval; check order forms, delivery requests and approval forms for accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and other electric or gas-powered vehicles, including elevated storage equipment where required.
• Maintain organised storage areas and follow all safety, health and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of the general aspects of the job.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• 0-1 years of general work experience.

Required skills

• Forklift or material handling equipment certification, or ability to obtain it if required.
