ACW Engineer – Airside Civil Works (Aviation)

About the role

We are seeking an ACW Engineer to lead airside civil works for an airport project in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves technical maintenance, facilities management and infrastructure development within the aviation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise civil engineering works on airside areas, including pavements and airport infrastructure.
• Perform technical maintenance and operation of high‑voltage (HV) and low‑voltage (LV) switchgear.
• Coordinate with facilities management teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other software tools.
• Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting and progress reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (4‑year program).
• 5–8 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in airport or airfield environments.
• Valid driving licence and high proficiency in English.
• Experience with HV/LV switchgear operation and maintenance.
• GCAS certification or similar airport‑specific qualifications are a plus.
