About the role

Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to deliver instruction in General Studies subjects for second-language learners within a student-centric environment. The role involves fostering respect for students’ cultures and traditions while contributing to academic and community activities.

Key responsibilities

Provide effective instruction in assigned General Studies courses, including capstone projects and senior-level specialized subjects.
Participate actively in academic and extra-curricular events at the college and within the community.
Deliver undergraduate courses according to the teaching schedule, with a load not exceeding nine credits per semester.
Engage in applied research, outreach activities, and support work-experience components.

Required profile

Master’s degree and relevant professional certification, or a Bachelor’s degree with extensive industry experience and certification.
Minimum of five years relevant industry experience (preferred).
Appropriate academic professional qualifications as required by the discipline.
