About the role
Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to deliver instruction in General Studies subjects for second-language learners within a student-centric environment. The role involves fostering respect for students’ cultures and traditions while contributing to academic and community activities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide effective instruction in assigned General Studies courses, including capstone projects and senior-level specialized subjects.
- Participate actively in academic and extra-curricular events at the college and within the community.
- Deliver undergraduate courses according to the teaching schedule, with a load not exceeding nine credits per semester.
- Engage in applied research, outreach activities, and support work-experience components.
Required profile
- Master’s degree and relevant professional certification, or a Bachelor’s degree with extensive industry experience and certification.
- Minimum of five years relevant industry experience (preferred).
- Appropriate academic professional qualifications as required by the discipline.
