Advisor Safety Health and Environment Site Supervision

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Advisor Safety, Health & Environment to oversee site safety supervision in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures compliance with UAE regulations and international best practices while fostering a proactive safety culture across all operational sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and safety violations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor site‑specific safety protocols, procedures and programs.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near‑misses, document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and awareness sessions for personnel at all levels.
• Maintain comprehensive safety documentation, records and reports for regulatory and internal review.
• Collaborate with site management and operational teams to integrate safety into daily activities.
• Analyze safety performance metrics to identify risks and drive improvement initiatives.
• Perform hazard assessments and risk evaluations for new projects, processes or equipment.
• Serve as primary point of contact for safety concerns and coordinate with external regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in safety, health and environment supervision within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Strong knowledge of UAE occupational health and safety regulations and international standards.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills with the ability to produce clear reports.
• Effective communication skills to deliver training and liaise with diverse stakeholders.
